Cisco_NDG Linux Essentials


This is a Skills for ALL course designed to empower individuals with skills required as a must in today’s digital world.

This course builds your Linux knowledge

Core Skills:
- Acquire open source concepts and progressively master Linux commands.
- Understand how Linux is used and the basics of its command line.
- Become skilled at using the Linux virtual machine for experiments.
- Prepare for LPI Linux Essentials Professional Development Certificate (PDC).

This course is intended for people who want to gain hands-on practice with Linux commands.

This course is at an intermediate level.

The course is offered in partnership with Cisco Networking Academy.

  • This course prepares you for the LPI Linux Essentials Professional Development Certificate (LPI 010-160).

    The Certification exam can be booked through Pearson Vue Test Centre located in Adelaide. You will need to pay for the cost of the certification exam yourself. In some cases, 50% discounted vouchers for the certification exam may be available through TAFE SA. For further information regarding the exam, you will need to contact the Exam supplier."

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.
