SHORT COURSE

Community as a Growth Lever

Description

From Audience to Advocacy: Community led strategy for long term brand growth

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

Community as a Growth Lever is a high-impact, three-hour strategic workshop that reframes how modern brands grow through trust, belonging and long-term relationships, not just campaigns or paid reach.

Led by Sarah Breen, founder of Ember Leadership, the workshop draws on her 15+ years of senior leadership experience at lululemon across Australia and New Zealand, where she helped build one of the world's most successful community-led brand strategies.

This is not influencer marketing. It's a practical, commercial approach to turning audiences into communities and communities into loyal advocates.

WHO'S IT FOR?

Designed for people responsible for building brands, including:

- Brand and marketing leaders
- Community, partnerships and communications managers
- Founders and small business owners
- PR and customer experience professionals
- Marketing and business students wanting a modern, real-world lens

It's also ideal for those wanting to move beyond short-term campaigns and understand community as a sustainable growth engine.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

In this workshop you will explore:

- How community-led growth differs from traditional marketing
- Why trust, shared identity and belonging drive loyalty and retention
- How to design meaningful brand touchpoints people return to
- How communities become advocates and ambassadors

Participants will leave with a clearer strategic lens and practical tools they can apply immediately within their own organisations or businesses.

OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE

At the conclusion of the workshop participants will be able to:

- Distinguish between audience, community and advocacy
- Design connection-led experiences that build loyalty
- Use storytelling to deepen emotional connection
- Leverage partnerships and ambassador ecosystems for organic growth
- Implement simple community practices that build long-term brand equity

You'll leave with a clear strategic framework and practical tools to apply immediately
