Are you looking to upgrade your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) qualification to the new Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) qualification? This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to plan, organise and assess training for individuals within a group and participate in an assessment validation process.
By completing this course, you will comply with the Standards for registered training organisations (RTOs) 2015 – a requirement for all trainers and assessors who deliver VET-accredited training.
This course will address the non-equivalent units between both qualifications:
- TAEASS401 Plan assessment activities and processes
- TAEASS403 Participate in assessment validation
To obtain the new TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, participants must hold the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as well as:
- TAEASS502/A/B Design and develop assessment tools and
- TAELLN401A/411 Address adult language literacy and numeracy skills
If participants do not hold either of these units, they will also need to complete these units, which are available for enrolment with TAFE SA.
Participants will be provided access to learning resources and assessment material in an online learning environment. Our qualified and experienced TAE facilitators will provide support and guidance through online forums.
Our face to face model includes a 2-day interactive workshop followed by self-paced learning. The workshop will provide an activity-based approach, enabling participants to refresh their skills in planning for assessment and participating in assessment validate events.
Please note that completion of this short course requires additional homework and assessment outside of class time when studied in a face to face format.
