This skill set provides the necessary skills and knowledge for people facilitating training under supervision in the vocational education and training (VET) sector, who deliver via a face-to-face and in-person delivery model. To complete this Skill Set, you will have successfully completed: - TAESS00028 Work Skill Instructor Skill Set (or units TAEPDD401 Work effectively in the VET Sector and TAEDEL311 Provide work skill instruction) - TAESS00029 Volunteer Trainer Delivery Skill Set (or units BSBCMM411 Make presentations and TAEDEL311 Provide work skill instruction) - TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set (or units TAEASS412 Assess competence, TAEASS413 Participate in assessment validation and TAEDES411 Use nationally recognised training products to meet vocational training needs) This skill set is targeted at participants who wish to use these units as part of an upgrade to the TAE40112 (Certificate IV Training and Assessment), or who are currently studying the TAE40112 (Certificate IV Training and Assessment), and who hold a Certificate III or higher and have current competency in a vocational industry area. This course is a combination of virtual classroom sessions and online learning. You can expect to spend approximately 10-12 hours per week on study and assessments. Written and practical assessments are to be completed within allocated timelines. A unit assessment outline will be provided to assist and guide you through the two (2) units of competency. Practical assessments will require access to "others" to complete. These assessments can be completed in your workplace (videoed for assessor).
