Description

This course covers an understanding of financial service industry practices and compliance requirements, professional development, maintaining ethical principles and establishing a professional relationship with both accounting and bookkeeping clients.

Skills Covered:
1. Identify industry professional approaches to procedures, guidelines, policies and standards, including ethical requirements, and to model and meet expectations of these in all aspects of work
2. Develop, implement and maintain policies and practices required to ensure the provision of quality service for in-house or contracted bookkeeping activities

This course requires students to purchase textbooks at an additional cost of approximately $70. More information will be provided following enrolment.

This course has either written or oral supervised assessment. Students will require access to Skype video chat for assessment purposes.

  • Apply principles of professional practice to work in the financial services industry (FNSINC401)

    Work effectively in the accounting and bookkeeping industry (FNSACC408)
