Description

Are you in an apprenticeship as an electrical instrumentation technician? This is the course for you. This nationally recognised Certificate lll course covers tools and processes to calibrate, adjust, and repair the instruments used in a wide range of industries. You’ll also learn the fundamentals of electrotechnology equipment and circuitry. Skills covered include safety, circuits, problem solving, specifications, and installation so you can be employed as a qualified instrument tradesperson and work in oil and gas, utilities, mining, and manufacturing.

    Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control (UEE31225)
    This qualification covers competencies to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain systems and devices for measurement and recording of physical/chemical phenomenon and related process control. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 23 core units plus elective units totalling 140 points. Please note; delivery of some units in this qualification may be undertaken via TAFE SA partner training organisation(s) who specialise in the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Apprentices and their Employers will be engaged to consider and agree to this option when applicable.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
