This qualification is for people entering the construction industry in the commercial sector and for those already working in the sector as builders, site managers, and building supervisors. It’s ideal if you’re seeking career advancement within your existing employment. You will learn about building practice, codes and structures, estimates and tendering, contract management, risk and financial management, and project planning, as well as costing systems for medium rise construction, energy efficiency and sustainability, quality control, and managing client relationships. This Diploma may also be suitable for licensed builders seeking the managerial, technical skills, and knowledge needed to upgrade to medium rise construction.
