    This qualification allows individuals to develop post-trade skills and knowledge across a broad coverage of the industry prior to undertaking higher level roles in the industry. Possible job titles include: Skilled horticulturalist and Horticultural tradesperson.

    Qualifications & Skills Covered

    Certificate IV in Horticulture (AHC40416)
    This qualification is designed to develop skills as a supervisor or leading hand within the horticulture industry. Undertaking this course may develop skills and knowledge in training small groups, recommending plants, supervising staff, landscape projects, irrigation works and machinery maintenance; costing and budgets; implementing and monitoring OHS and environmental practices; designing gardens; planning revegetation; turf and propagation and chemical use. 1 core unit plus 11 electives.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
