    Fees vary depending on subjects you enrol into. This course also has an incidentals cost of $395.00 for $60 Licence fee for access to Lynda.com, $50 Contribution for participation in Graduate Exhibition and $285 for portable hard-drive, studio kit and flash sync lead.

    This course is subsidised through the Government of South Australia's WorkReady initiative. To access subsidised training through WorkReady, your suitability to complete the qualification will be assessed. This may include participation in a Language, Literacy and Numeracy pre-assessment.

    • Students doing this program will be expected to purchase a DSLR camera body (preferably Canon or Nikon), a short zoom lens for either full frame sensor cameras (Canon 24-70mm f2.8 USM lens or Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm f2.8 ED lens) or reduced frame sensor cameras (Canon 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM lens or Nikon AF17-55mm f2.8 ED-IF AF_S), a tripod (such as Manfrotto 190 XB) and a camera flash (such as Canon).
    • Students wishing to access WorkReady funding or VET Student Loans will be required to demonstrate satisfactory reading, writing and numeracy skills.

    This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have professional level specialised, technical and theoretical skills to plan, carry out and evaluate photo imaging services. Practice at this level is underpinned by application of design theory and the ability to critically analyse and synthesise information from a range of sources. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 3 core units and 14 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
