This course aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge to confidently provide valuable assistance to a dental operator during a wide variety of oral health care procedures and administrative procedures. In addition to clinical skills, the program also has a strong focus on ensuring graduates can apply the fundamental principles of infection control and workplace health and safety.

Certificate III in Dental Assisting
Skills covered include communication, working with diverse people, dental radiography, infection prevention and control, medical devices and equipment and workplace safety. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 9 core units and 2 elective units.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
