Certificate III in Live Production and Services
This qualification reflects the roles of Assistant Stage Managers, Design Assistants, Props, Set and Scenic Art Workshop Assistants and Audio/Sound, Lighting, and Staging Technicians.
They apply a broad range of skills and knowledge in providing technical production and design services for the entertainment, performing arts, concert, film production, festivals and events industries.
They are required to demonstrate good team skills, consistent performance, reliability and initiative within the scope of their role.
They work collaboratively with a wide range of other creative and technical personnel under supervision of more experienced personnel.
Study streams are:
Construction including Props, Set and Scenic Art units
- Design including Props, Set, Scenic Art and Design units
- Stage Management including Audio/Sound, Lighting, Staging, Props and Stage Management units
- Technical Production including Audio/Sound, Lighting and Staging units.
6 core units plus 9 elective units.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
