Description

This course is designed to meet the needs of builders and managers of small to medium-sized building businesses. A builder is the person who coordinates the construction of a building and takes responsibility for the overall completion of the job, including selecting contractors, overseeing the work and its quality, and liaising with the client.

    Qualifications & Skills Covered

    Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) (CPC40110)
    Skills covered include finances, building codes and standards, safety, contracts, schedules, materials, legal requirements, structural principles and interpreting plans. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 13 core units and 3 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.

    Fees

    The TAFE SA qualification is subsidised through the Government of South Australia's WorkReady initiative. To access subsidised training through WorkReady, your suitability to complete the qualification will be assessed. This may include participation in a Language, Literacy and Numeracy pre-assessment.
