The Federal and State and Territory Governments have agreed to create 180,000 Fee Free TAFE places across Australia in 2023.

Fee Free TAFE will help industries facing skill shortages and people in priority cohorts wanting to train, retrain or upskill.

Details regarding eligibility for Fee Free TAFE are currently being determined between the Governments.

TAFE SA is working with the State Government to implement Fee Free TAFE in South Australia which is expected to commence in January 2023.
