Access to the internet is available for students throughout all TAFE SA campuses. This allows students to bring and use their own devices and gain access via wifi to TAFE SA resources and includes areas such as cafeterias, student common areas (both indoor and outdoor) and the Learning Resource Centres (LRC).

You will need your Student ID number and password available before connecting to the internet.
Your Student ID number should contain 9 numbers (e.g. 000052334)

Universal Guidelines

Most wireless devices should be able to automatically connect to the TAFE SA Wi-Fi network with these steps.

  1. On your device, go to the Wi-Fi settings/icon. Locate and select the wireless network called TAFESA-BYOD.
  2. When prompted, type in your TAFE SA username (Student ID) and password.
    - You might be prompted about a certificate when connecting. You must click ‘Allow’.

If your device has issues connecting, use the guides below. You should also confirm your account is active by logging into a campus computer/laptop or asking library staff.

Note: This requires a current student login to the network to connect. TAFE SA ICT Services do not provide support for any privately owned equipment.
