Microsoft Teams is TAFE SA’s online meeting application

If you have received an online meeting request from one of our TAFE SA staff, you will need to install Teams on to your device before your scheduled meeting time.

Teams is available across most devices, including Android, Apple, and Windows.

Select from the download buttons below or use the QR code to visit your app store to install Teams on your device.

Installing and connecting to Teams

Use our step-by-step instructions or video tutorials to learn how to install and connect to Teams for your device.

    • How to install Teams

       

      This video tutorial will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to connect to a Teams meeting.

       

      Install Teams on Android

      1. Open Play Store
      2. Type teams into the search bar and click search.
      3. Click Install

      Teams will now install on your Android device.

      Your meeting organiser will send you an email with a link to the meeting.

       

      Connect to Teams meeting on Android

      1. From the email with the meeting information, click on Click here to join the meeting
      2. When prompted, Click on Teams
      3. Click on the Join Meeting button
      4. Enter your name and press Join Meeting
      5. If you are prompted click Allow to Allow Teams to record Audio and video
        You will enter the virtual lobby where your meeting organiser will connect you to the meeting
      6. Your camera and microphone can be turned on or off by clicking on the camera and microphone icons
      7. To end the meeting, click the red Hang Up button

      You can connect to a teams meeting without needing to install teams on your computer. The following instructions demonstrate how to connect using your web browser.

      Your meeting organiser will send you an email with a link to the meeting.

       

      Connect to Teams meeting on Windows

      1. From the email with the meeting information, click on Click here to join the meeting
      2. Click on Continue on this browser button
      3. When prompted click on Allow to Allow Teams to record Audio and Video
      4. Type your name and click Join meeting
        You will enter the virtual lobby where your meeting organiser will connect you to the meeting
      5. Your camera and microphone can be turned on or off by clicking on the camera and microphone icons
      6. To end the meeting, click the red Hang Up button
