Training Security Operations Centre (TSOC)

To make sure South Australian’s are ahead of the game, TAFE SA has established a state-of the-art Training Security Operations Centre,  (TSOC), to deliver training to help combat the global surge in malicious cyber activity.  Here you will learn how to prevent cyber security attacks within this hands-on simulated training environment.

TSOC is the first of its kind in the state’s VET sector, with a red ‘attack’ and a blue ‘defence’ room, designed to replicate authentic scenarios, simulations, testing opportunities and interaction with other TSOC’s nationwide. The facility is equipped with the latest hardware and software sourced from industry partners such as CISCO, Microsoft, Fortinet, Splunk, IBM, HP, Aruba, VMWare, AWS, and Palo Alto.

What our students say

"At a young age, I was always fascinated by technology and how computers work. So, I always wanted to know and learn about the back end of computer systems.

I chose TAFE SA because the program provides hands-on and practical skills that are similar to the real-world IT industry.

The teachers at TAFE SA were so helpful, as they guided me every step of the way during my entire course."
