Mansooreh completed a TAFE SA pathways course in Food Handling.  After completing her work placement at IKEA, and impressing them with her skills and positive attitude, she was offered a 3-month employment contract. 

Now past her initial 3-months, Mansooreh’s employer has extended her contract and she continues to progress her career. She has learned many new skills in the IKEA restaurant, gaining experience in the kitchen, but she has also been given more training, and the opportunity to learn new skills in other departments. ‘Now I work in logistics and sometimes in the sales department and I’m learning how to use the till. I’m very happy there and I like my job.’
