Description
This unit builds on the knowledge from Revit Fundamentals to produce outcomes required to create, modify, and use more complex three-dimensional (3-D) models for building design projects covered by the Building Code of Australia (BCA), except construction Type A buildings.
This course enables building designers to prepare and present 3-D models for use in project documentation and integration of other building information modelling (BIM) capabilities such as importing surveys to create a Toposurface, create and modify building schedules and manage construction phasing.
Work in this area must be completed according to relevant legislative, industry and organisational requirements, including occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures. Different states and territories may have regulatory mechanisms that apply to this unit. Users are advised to check for regulatory limitations.

- Use phasing to create and manage views for a building renovation and addition
- Create and manage View Templates
- Link an AutoCAD (DWG) file to trace Site related information

On the completion of this unit, you will be competent in using Revit Architecture to document a building design project.
