Men's Barbering

Description

This hands-on, 2-day short course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to develop your barbering skills.

Guest presenter, Phill Dutton from Zac Grooming for Men, will take you through American Crew techniques, including the ever-popular fade and full-face shaving.

A model will be required for each afternoon so that you can apply your newly acquired skills.

Day 1 – The fade
Day 2 – Face shaving look and learn and fade clients

Upon successful completion you will receive nationally recognised accreditation for the unit Cut hair using freehand clipper techniques (SHBHCUT009).

To be eligible to enrol you must:
- Have completed the pre-requisite unit ‘SHBHCUT001 - Design haircut structures’,
- Be currently working in the industry or have relevant industry experience (second year apprentices are eligible to attend).

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.
