How up to date is your food safety knowledge? All food businesses are required to have staff trained in appropriate skills and knowledge in food safety and food handling.
TAFE SA offers this accredited short course designed to help you increase your knowledge of food safety.
This course is delivered both online and face-to-face at a TAFE SA campus.

> Cause and effect of food poisoning
> Food handling practices
> Storage of food
> Personal hygiene

Approximately study time online is 6 hrs (including knowledge assessment) and a 3 hour practical session at a TAFE SA Campus with kitchen facilities (Barossa, Regency, Elizabeth, Noarlunga, Berri, Mt Gambier or Pt Lincoln).
The practical session will be organised once you have registered.
