Facilitate Online Learning

Description

Are you new to delivering online learning? Do you need to improve your online learning skills? This three-week facilitated, non-accredited course is aimed at trainers with beginner or intermediate e-facilitation skills.

This course will develop your skills and knowledge so that you can facilitate learning in an online learning space. The course addresses five key elements, based on the unit of competency TAEDEL501 Facilitate e-learning:
- Establish the e-learning environment
- Introduce e-learning
- Guide and facilitate e-learning
- Monitor e-learning
- Review e-learning processes

During the course you will:
- Be introduced to several e-learning tools
- Collaborate on suitable protocols for using selected e-learning tools
- Gain exposure and experience in using e-learning tools
- Develop methods for monitoring and supporting e-learner progress
- Be introduced to mechanisms to review e-learning processes

Collaborate is a web-based online classroom collaboration tool that acts as a real-time virtual classroom. Students and lecturer will interact over the internet. You do not need to install any software and you can access the classroom from any computer that has internet connection, or a mobile telephone. That means you do not have to be in the same room together. You can access it from anywhere you have internet and a computer.
