This course provides you with advanced skills and knowledge required to design, develop, build and/or manage websites. It provides the opportunity to work with new and emerging web technologies including HTML5, online interactive design and development, Web 2 Tools and mobile devices.
- Students will be able to complete subjects in common with the Cert IV Information Technology by attending classes at campuses other than Adelaide but will need to study online or attend the Adelaide City campus to complete this qualification.

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to design, build and manage websites as an independent web developer or as part of a team. Possible job roles include web developer, web development manager, web programmer, website manager, webmaster, web administrator, internet developer.

Skills covered include workplace safety, database integration, copyright, ethics, privacy, building dynamic websites and pages and web technology trends. 8 core units plus 12 electives.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
