Course Admission Requirements

  • Diploma of Graphic Design or
  • Submission of a folio which provides evidence of your ability to apply visual communication history and theory to own professional practice, produce professional typography, produce graphic designs for two dimensional and three dimensional applications and create and manipulate graphics and design complex publication layouts

Fees vary depending on subjects you enrol into. This course also has an incidentals cost of $310.00 for $60 licence fee for access to Lynda.com, $50 contribution for participation in Graduate Exhibition and $200 for arts materials and tools.

    • You will receive an offer to both TAFE SA and University, with the University offer being conditional on successful completion of the TAFE SA qualification.
    • You can rest assured you have secured your University offer, pending successful completion of the TAFE SA award.
    • No further application will be required.
    • You will receive credit for TAFE SA studies allowing you to complete two awards dependent on the pathway selected.
    • If accepted, you will receive an offer to TAFE SA and-on successful completion of the TAFE SA qualification-an offer to University with no further application required.

    Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design/Bachelor of Media – Uni of Adelaide Pathway
    This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have highly specialised technical, creative and conceptual skills in visual communication to conceive, negotiate and realise design solutions.
    You will gain a sound understanding of visual communication and design theory and history, and the ability to critically analyse and synthesise information from a range of sources.
    Advanced communication, organisation and project management skills are also covered.
    This course integrates both print and digital media applications of design.
