Dual Trade Apprenticeship – Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820) and Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (UEE32225)
The Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician covers the basic requirement to register as an Electrical Worker in South Australia. Upon completion, students are eligible to apply for an Unrestricted, Unsupervised Electrical Workers Registration in South Australia.
The Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration provides competencies to select components, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain refrigeration systems and equipment that apply to food storage and preservation, air conditioning and air distribution equipment in buildings and premises. It includes regulatory requirements for purchasing and handling refrigerants.
To complete the Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, you are required to complete 990 core weighting points plus 120 general elective weighting points.
To complete the Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, you are required to complete a total of 1210 weighting points comprising 1070 core weighting points plus 140 general elective weighting points. 27 core units make up the 1070 core weighting points.
