    The Certificates I, II, III and IV in English Proficiency have been designed to provide participants with an opportunity to enter the appropriate level of language development for their particular needs and skill level.

    Qualifications & Skills Covered

    Certificate II in English Proficiency (10268NAT)
    This course is designed for pre-intermediate level students for whom English is an additional language. It aims to develop with guidance, social, educational and vocational goals; develop competencies in speaking, listening, reading and writing to function effectively within the Australian community; prepare students to look for work in the future; and develop skills for further study at TAFE SA or university first before finding a job. The nationally accredited Certificate II in English Proficiency (CEP II) is delivered in this course. The course is responsive to individual needs and is taught by a team of teachers with wide experience and specialist skills in this area. 8 core units plus 4 electives.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
