VETRO LLN Assessment Resit Request

Application to resit the VETRO LLN Assessment for students with significant gaps outcomes.

Please read the VETRO LLN Resit Framework for full details and conditions. Webform request must be submitted within 2 weeks from LLN Assessment results being communicated to schools via the consolidated email (sent on Tuesdays during the referral period). Referral outcomes will be finalised in the Skills SA referral portal after 2 weeks, at which time resit requests can no longer be accepted.

2. Category of resit request:

(LLN significant gaps outcome is consistent with the student’s demonstrated literacy and numeracy capability at school. The student will be receiving additional Foundation Skills learning before participating in the LLN resit)
(LLN significant gaps outcome is not consistent with the student’s demonstrated literacy and numeracy capability at school)

Please note the following definitions and criteria:

  • Anticipated Significant Gap: Where LLN significant gaps outcome is consistent with the student’s demonstrated literacy and numeracy capability at school; The student will be receiving additional Foundation Skills learning before participating in the LLN reassessment); Student can complete resit after 8 weeks from initial assessment; One resit permitted per intake; Resits are undertaken on a TAFE SA campus or in a TAFE SA supervised online session. Student can attend a TAFE SA supervised online session from school or home; Reasonable adjustments as outlined in the LLN Invigilation Guidelines apply.
  • Unexpected Significant Gap: Where LLN significant gaps outcome is not consistent with the student’s demonstrated literacy and numeracy capability at school; Student can complete resit after 2 weeks from initial assessment; One resit permitted per intake; Resits are undertaken on a TAFE SA campus or in a TAFE SA supervised online session. Student can attend a TAFE SA supervised online session from school or home; Reasonable adjustments as outlined in the LLN Invigilation Guidelines apply
