Designed for beginners, this six-week introductory course provides a comprehensive overview of Adobe's top creative software, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.

Create page layouts with text and graphics in InDesign.

Tutorials include letter creation, text styling, advanced word processing, kerning, and tracking, 2-page magazine advertising, multiple column advertising with text wrap, magazine cover pagination and style sheets for magazine page layouts.

Retouch and colour correct images with Photoshop.

Tutorials include photo retouching, replacing backgrounds, annual report cover, selecting with quick masks, cropping, resizing, and blending, preparing digital photos for print, saving for the web as JPEG, GIF and PNG files, adjustment layers and masks, and using layer masks for silhouettes.

Create vector graphics and illustrations with Illustrator.

Tutorials include straight lines, curves (pen tool), corners and curves, basic shapes, live trace, hand-drawn images, brushes, colours, and gradients and combining shapes with the pathfinder.

Students can also undertake optional simple projects to apply the knowledge gained from the tutorials. Examples include:
- Creating a poster using InDesign
- Creating a coffee cup label for a 3D model using Photoshop
- Creating a simple business card using Illustrator
