Entry Recommendations
Dual Offers are available only to Australian and New Zealand citizens or holders of permanent visas.
We recommend that you have either:

  • Certificate IV in Human Resource Management before starting this course
  • Two years full-time relevant work experience.

Attendance Requirements (subject to change): This course is either a blend of virtual online classes or face to face classes which are scheduled at locations and times outlined in the information session conducted by lecturers.

Industry Conditions and Skills

  • In this course you will use a combination of workplace scenarios to be applied to your work environment and a simulated business to access workplace documentation and resources.
  • You will be taking part in role plays in unit assessments and will need to record and upload these.

Additional Uniforms, Equipment and Costs
You will need access to a computer and the internet, as well as a webcam and related software.

Mandatory Requirements
If you do not hold these 4 entry units or equivalent competencies you will complete these units as part of the Diploma at an additional cost:

  • BSBHRM411 Administer performance development processes,
  • BSBHRM412 Support employee and industrial relations,
  • BSBHRM415 Coordinate recruitment and onboarding,
  • BSBHRM417 Support human resource functions and processes.

    Diploma of Human Resource Management (BSB50320)
    This qualification covers human resource services, recruitment and induction processes, performance management processes, workforce planning, employee relations and workplace safety. To complete the qualification, you are required to complete four (4) prerequisite units, seven (7) core units and five (5) elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
