Description

This course is specifically designed for candidates who are employed with the Department of Human Services (DHS). It provides the skills to support individuals with disability, living in the community and/or supported accommodation.

A Core Skills Profile for Adults (CSPA) will be held followed by an enrolment and orientation session.

Group 1 - 30th April –9am – 1pm
Group 2 - 1st May 9am – 1pm
Group 2 - 2nd May 12pm – 4pm

Participants will be allocated a date and notified via email.

Course Admission Requirements

  • You must be employed by the Department of Human Services (DHS)

    This course covers independence and wellbeing, communication, working with diverse people, legal and ethical requirements, healthy body systems and safe work practices. To complete the qualification, you are required to complete all 9 core units and 6 elective units.
