Destination Australia Scholarship

The Australian Government provides funding through the Destination Australia Program to help eligible tertiary education providers offer scholarships to domestic and international students to study and live in regional Australia.

TAFE SA is honoured to be selected for the Destination Australia 2024 – an Australian Government initiative and provide new students with this once in a life-time opportunity.

Opportunity:

Study a Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management (099074G/CRS1400588) at our Barossa Valley Campus, located in the town of Nuriootpa, approximately an hour’s drive north of Adelaide. The Barossa Valley is one of the world’s best wine regions, also known for its seasonal produce, scenic landscapes and food culture.

Benefits:

  • AU$15,000 per year/student in scholarship funding (AU$45,000 over three years)

How to apply

Prepare your documents

You will need to meet both the academic entry and the English proficiency requirements for the Bachelor’s degree. To do this, you will need the following.

  • Copies (certified) of your academic transcripts (report card, Diploma of Upper Secondary), any degree and your passport.
  • IELTS / PTE Academic test certificate.
  • Any previous CoE’s
  • Copy of your Resume / CV
  • Scholarship Application Form
  • Signed copy of the FAQ document

Visit an agent

In most cases, offshore applicants will need to apply using an agent.

If you are offshore, find a TAFE SA preferred agent.

If you are onshore in Australia or can apply directly, please select the degree from the international course list on the TAFE SA website, select the Barossa Valley campus, July 2024 intake and click ‘Apply’. You will be required to create a login and can then upload the documents.

Important Dates

  • Opening: 15 January 2024
  • Scholarships awarded: Starting 4 March 2024
  • Closing: Once all Scholarships have been allocated
  • Course intake: July 2024
