About Food Technology

Food science and technology covers all areas of food production including dairy, cheese making, retail meat butchery, meat processing, baking, as well as brewing and beverages. Laboratory operations involve the chemical and microbiological testing of food or in testing the functionality of ingredients that have recently become available.
