About Sign Language
Certificates II and III in AUSLAN will provide the practical skills and knowledge to facilitate communication with people who are deaf or hearing impaired. Students are introduced to and learn the Australian Sign Language (AUSLAN). This qualification provides graduates with introductory AUSLAN skills which can be an advantage for work in teaching, child care, community welfare, public service and health positions.
