Description

In this eight week course with lecturer Jo Crawford you will build upon your fundamental knowledge and skill in wheel throwing. You will be encouraged and assisted to create more challenging forms through a more focused approach. The course will cover altering thrown forms, additions such as handles lids, increased scale and the production of editions/sets of ceramic vessels. You will be able to negotiate the forms you would like to focus on for the course and engage in a more focused approach to design, surface decoration and glaze. The class is informative, fun and you set their own pace.

The cost of the course includes use of facilities, tuition, use of wheels and tools, clay, materials for decorating and glazing and firing of your work.

Casual loose clothing, an apron, and a small hand towel are recommended for this course.
