Employment Outcomes
This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in wide-ranging, highly specialised technical tourism skills covering operations, sales, marketing, product development, business planning, and human resource and financial management.

Understanding the tourism industry; tour planning; tour wholesaling; tourism research; product knowledge; human resource management; marketing; financial management; writing business documents; business technology; legal requirements for tourism management, project management; business planning; risk management, presentations; workplace operations; spread sheets, database management, customer service; communication skills; occupational health and safety, office procedures.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency within this Qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment.
Credit Transfer
Studying at TAFE SA is one of the easiest pathways towards a University Degree. Credit Transfer is the formal recognition that parts of a TAFE SA course are equivalent in content and level to parts of some University courses.
