Course Notes & Special Requirements
- TAFE SA can recognise the skills (RPL) you already have. If you are working in the industry and have skills that can be recognised, TAFE SA will provide any additional training needed to gain a qualification.
- Students wishing to access VET Fee Help will be required to demonstrate satisfactory reading, writing and numeracy skills or provide evidence of Year 12 completion as part of course counselling before enrolling.

This course is for qualified veterinary nurses wishing to specialise their skills in emergency situations to treat critically injured and sick animals back to health. 8 core units.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
