- International students may wish to complete a travel and tourism package consisting of either the Certificate III in Tourism (1 semester) or Certificate III in Travel (1.5 semesters), the Diploma of Travel and Tourism (2 semesters) and the Advanced Diploma of Travel and Tourism (1 semester) for a total duration of 2 academic years (4 semesters). The fees for the 2 year package are Travel: $29500 and Tourism: $27000. Students will receive a COE and a parchment for each of the courses within the package.

International Course - application process
If you are applying from onshore, generally, you will need to apply for an international course to TAFE South Australia at least two months before you want to start your studies in Australia. If you are applying from offshore it is highly recommended that you apply at least four months in advance.

Jobs in travel and tourism are by nature found wherever tourists want to go. This includes major cities and attractions, as well as on modes of transport needed to take tourists to these destinations. This means there are jobs available in travel and tourism throughout South Australia and all over the world, in famous cities as well as on tours or cruises. Courses focus on study of the industry, wholesale and retail product delivery and human resource management. Specialist streams are available in wine and eco-tourism, guiding and visitor information services, retail sales and marketing, even in caravan park operations.

Advanced Diploma of Travel and Tourism
This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in wide-ranging, highly specialised technical tourism skills covering operations, sales, marketing, product development, business planning, regional tourism planning and development and human resource and financial management. 7 core units plus 5 electives.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.

This course is available as a Packaged University Offer. The University program(s) for this course: Bachelor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Adelaide or Bachelor of Business (Tourism and Event Management) at the University of South Australia
