- This qualification has been designed for experienced vocational practitioners. Before applying, applicants are strongly encouraged to successfully complete either a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills to the learning outcomes of the CIV in TAA.

Diploma of Training Design and Development
This qualification is for training developers and instructional designers who are responsible for analysing training needs and designing training solutions and products to meet workplace capability requirements, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs. 5 core units plus 5 electives.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
Studying at TAFE SA is one of the easiest pathways towards a University Degree. Credit Transfer is the formal recognition that parts of a TAFE SA course are equivalent in content and level to parts of some University courses.
