- This qualification has been designed for experienced vocational practitioners. Before applying, applicants are strongly encouraged to successfully complete either a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills to the learning outcomes of the CIV in TAA.

Graduates may find a role in leading other trainers and assessors and in providing mentoring or advice to new trainers or assessors as well as designing approaches to learning and assessment strategies across a significant area within the RTO.

Diploma of Vocational Education and Training
This qualification reflects the skills of experienced practitioners delivering training and assessment services usually within Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) within the vocational education and training (VET) sector. 6 core units plus 4 electives.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
Studying at TAFE SA is one of the easiest pathways towards a University Degree. Credit Transfer is the formal recognition that parts of a TAFE SA course are equivalent in content and level to parts of some University courses.
