This Qualification covers post-trade outcomes for retail bakers, bread makers and pastry cooks. It reflects specialisation in advanced technical baking skills and bakery management skills.
Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.

Certificate IV in Advanced Baking
This Qualification includes technical, artisan and creative skills and knowledge required to produce bakery products, solve baking problems, and ensure that operations are implemented and maintained to optimal performance. It also covers skills in monitoring the implementation of systems and procedures, and management functions of the organisation. 5 core units plus 9 elective units.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
