Employment Outcomes

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in designing, developing and refining digital media technologies as an independent ICT specialist or as part of a team. It provides the opportunity to work in new and emerging digital media technology areas, such as online, and interactive design and development, and with tools and equipment, such as software, Web 2 tools, technologies and mobile devices.

• Advanced 2D animation using Adobe Flash and ActionScript programming • Advanced digital image editing using Adobe Photoshop • 3D Modelling and 3D Animation using Autodesk 3DS Max • Web programming using PHP/MySQL • Mobile application development using Advanced HTML5 • Video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro • Post video production using Adobe After Effects • Workplace Safety Management • Managing Multimedia Projects.

Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency within this Qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment.
