  • No course admission requirements, however, students wishing to access VET Fee Help will need to demonstrate satisfactory reading, writing and numeracy skills or provide evidence of Year 12 completion as part of course counselling before enrolling.

    This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are competent in managing the overall operation of a business involved in services and sales delivery in personal services environments, including, hairdressing and beauty salons and spas.

    Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.

    Diploma of Salon Management (SIB50210)
    Salon management is more than knowing how to be a hairdresser or beauty therapist. This course will equip you with the leadership, organisational, human resource and team building skills you need to be a salon owner or manager. Flexible training plans are available which combine self-paced learning, participation in seminars and workshops and on-the job projects. 6 core units plus electives.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
