    This course is designed to help people update their educational, vocational and social skills so that they can successfully compete for positions in employment, further education or training programs. It aims to provide students with: the skills, knowledge and self-confidence necessary to make informed, realistic choices of education or employment pathways; • the basic educational competencies and self confidence to prepare for their preferred education or employment pathways; an introduction to vocational skills, general literacy, numeracy and communication skills; and the skills necessary for effective lifelong learning.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
