Certificate II in Education and Skills Development
This course is designed to help people update their educational, vocational and social skills so that they can successfully compete for positions in employment, further education or training programs. It aims to provide students with: the skills, knowledge and self-confidence necessary to make informed, realistic choices of education or employment pathways;
• the basic educational competencies and self confidence to prepare for their preferred education or employment pathways; an introduction to vocational skills, general literacy, numeracy and communication skills; and the skills necessary for effective lifelong learning.

- Applications for the 2012 Intake must be made through the centralised TAFE Admissions system via SATAC (South Australian
Tertiary Admissions Centre) by the advertised date.
- Applicants can make one application for up to six course preferences.

Fees
In July 2012 the South Australian Government will be introducing the Skills For All policy initiative.
Skills For All may impact the eligibility and funding arrangements for government subsidised vocational education and training in South Australia.
As a direct result of this initiative, TAFE SA will reassess all student fees prior to Semester 2, 2012. This may result in some student fees decreasing whilst others may increase.
