Expected Employment Outcome Example

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who take the first line in management in a wide range of organisational and industry contexts. They may have existing qualifications and technical skills in any given vocation or profession, yet require skills or recognition in supervisory functions. Typically they would report to a manager. At this level frontline managers provide leadership and guidance to others and take responsibility for the effective functioning and performance of the team and its work outcomes. Possible job roles include coordinator, leading hand, supervisor, and team leader.

Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.

Fees

In July 2012 the South Australian Government will be introducing the Skills For All policy initiative. Skills For All may impact the eligibility and funding arrangements for government subsidised vocational education and training in South Australia. As a direct result of this initiative, TAFE SA will reassess all student fees prior to Semester 2, 2012. This may result in some student fees decreasing whilst others may increase.

TAFE SA will advise students of new fees as soon as they are available. Information on Skills For All is available at http://www.skills.sa.gov.au/.
