Studying a TAFE SA Veterinary Nursing or Animal Care course will prepare you for a career in a variety of animal care workplaces. This includes veterinary practices, pet shops, animal welfare organisations, boarding or grooming establishments and much more.

Employment Opportunities

There are a many prospects available for graduates in these areas including the opportunity to work in veterinary practices, pet shops, boarding kennels, animal welfare organisations, and in the biomedical area. The Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing is the national qualification for Veterinary Nurses. The Diploma of Animal Technology provides graduates with opportunities to work in biotechnical research and production, teaching facilities, zoos and wildlife parks.
