TAFE SA offers Certificate courses in wool and shearing at various levels, giving students several pathways into the industry.

From Clip Preparation to Advanced Wool Handling and Wool Classing, as well as two Certificates in Shearing, these qualifications can have you working all around the country.

If you are fit and healthy and enjoy the rugged outdoors, then shearing sheep could be for you. Alternatively you may prefer to work with wool as a classer or handler, once it’s off the sheep’s back.
