TAFE SA’s certificates in women’s education are designed to provide women with the skills, knowledge and self-confidence to proceed to further education or employment and deal with career and life changes. Many of the students choosing these courses have been out of the workforce because of family responsibilities.
Courses in vocational education are designed to provide students with a strong foundation in general education including language, literacy and numeracy development to the level necessary to successfully undertake further vocational study or employment. Units from these courses can also be studied alongside your vocational course.
Women participating in this program can begin pathways towards a wide range of fields including Business Studies, Small Business, Information Technology, Community Services, Tourism and Hospitality, Office/Clerical, Management and Marketing. Many continue on to higher education and employment.
