Industry Description - Recreation and Fitness
There is a strong growth in sport, fitness and outdoor recreation activities, along with increased public awareness of health and fitness issues. Courses in this area will train graduates for employment in the sport and recreation, leisure, health and fitness, outdoor recreation, adventure tourism and mining industries as coaches, personal trainers, fitness instructors, sport and recreation supervisors and managers, and outdoor recreation assistants and leaders.
