TAFE SA offers a number of different training options for students wishing to further their knowledge and skills in the theories of Project Management. We offer both short courses, full qualifications and certification in a number of different Project Management applications including PRINCE2, Microsoft Project and PMBOK. We also offer both online and face-to-face study options.
PRINCE2 (accredited and non-accredited)
Both Foundation and Practitioner courses offered. Highly utilised in government and large commercial industry, these courses will teach you to apply PRINCE2 to the running and managing of a project within a PRINCE2 environment.
Microsoft Project (non-accredited)
Learn to become a more effective project manager and save time. We offer courses in Project Management using Microsoft Project software. This software is used in a diverse and varied industries. In this course you will learn the skills to efficiently manage your project, including developing a project plan, allocating resources to tasks, tracking progress, managing your budget and much more.
Project Management Fundamentals (accredited and non-accredited)
This 2 day workshop will provide you with an understanding of the basic principles of Project Management. The workshop will cover both a theory overview of the PMBOK methodologies, as well as a practical overview on the use of Microsoft Project software program.
Certificate IV in Project Management Practice
This qualification will assist you to develop the skills and knowledge required to become an effective member of a project team. Via the PMBOK methodology, you will learn the fundamental concepts relating to successful project management such as setting timelines and schedules, project costing, quality control and communicating with key stakeholders.
Diploma of Project Management
This qualification gives in-depth coverage of project management knowledge areas of PMBOK. This course is targeted at participants who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work and/or the work of a team.
