Our Certificate IV in Bookkeeping is specifically design for employment as a bookkeeper. Students learn to establish and maintain manual and computerised accounting systems. Other course functions may include completing Business Activity Statements (BAS) and developing management systems for organisations.
Bookkeeping graduates often find roles in establishing and maintaining financial records for clients. Roles may include recording transactions for a cash or accrual accounting system to preparing financial reports via manual or computerised accounting packages such as MYOB. Bookkeeping studies can also provide skills in developing internal management systems and controls. Many bookkeepers work for themselves with a range of clients giving the role flexibility and variety.
