Accounting and Finance
Our Accounting and Finance faculty offer a wide range of study programs that have been designed to equip students with skills in the diverse areas within this industry.
Study can be selected from the broader accounting area, or within more specific roles in bookkeeping. The faculty also provides study in the financial services sector including banking and financial planning. Other areas of study are focused towards compliance roles within taxation, such as becoming a registered tax agent or a registered BAS agent. Advisory roles within the financial services sector and insurance industry can be studied with our range of ASIC courses. Our programs focus in providing practical skills and application knowledge to employees, school leavers, job seekers, migrants, university students, business managers and business owners.
The faculty also provide a range of corporate training and short courses that are suitable for specific accounting skills relevant to the private sector and the public sector. These courses are designed to pave way towards a career in accounting or bookkeeping.
Our graduates have gone on to establish careers in bookkeeping, accounting, banking, insurance and other financial service sectors with private companies and government departments.
